Words spill like wine, leaving stains in the backs of our minds. Pouring violence from our untoched lips into glasses that smashed like fireworks on the floor. Bags packed with iron memories & soaked in tears, with shaking hands & hearts overwhelmed by the fear of a life without each other. I don't know what I'll do without you. I don't know what I'll do. Gone are the days we called in sick just to stay at home in bed, just to steal it for ourselves, for us. Farewell.
Now I dream myself awake every night with a ghost scratching at my spine, & it whispers to me..
